Swimming Get Multiple All-Americans at NCAA DII Championship

The ¹ú²úÂ鶹 men's and women's swimming teams were Indianapolis for the NCAA DII National Championships  from Tuesday, March 11-Saturday, March 15. The swimmers representing ¹ú²úÂ鶹 at the NCAA DII National Championships was  Larissa Bueno Alves  (Brazil, Panama/Colegio De La Salle)  on the women's side. For the men's team,  Mahmoud Abdelkarim  (Cairo, Egypt/Modern English School Cairo) ,  Valentin De Frutos  (Santafe, Argentina/Colegio de Traductores de la Provincia de Santa Fe) ,  Matt Howard  (Tamarin, Mauritius/Westcoast International) ,  Nico Jacinto  (Caloocan, Philippines/Texas A&M University) ,  Juan Jose Castro  (Cali, Colombia/Corporacion Cultural Colegio Aleman) ,  River Streefland  (Nootdorp, Netherlands/Lycecum Ypenburg) ,  Tom Thalau  (Stuttgart, Germany/Wirtemberg-Gymnasium) , and  Davidson Vincent  (Thomonde, Haiti/Westlake Preparatory School)  were all there.  The Flyers trip to Indianapolis was one for the record books, literally. The Flyers broke nine school records at meet and received 30 All-American honors which is the most in school history. The men's relay team set a new school record in every event at the National Championships. Interim head coach  Tim O'Neill  "It's been an amazing season for this team not only an achievement perspective. With a coaching change, the amount of adversity that they overcame to sustain success is astounding. We are established at the national level because of their willingness to learn and compete."
